I photograph the parts nobody thinks to pose for.
My name is Meghana Reddy. I started in 2013 with a borrowed camera at a cousin's wedding in Warangal, and I have been following families ever since — through the haldi, the first cry, the first birthday, the house that finally became a home.
I work quietly. No shouting for attention, no rearranging your grandmother, no twelve retakes of a moment that already happened. I watch, I wait, and I press the shutter when something true passes across a face. What you get back are photographs that feel like the day actually felt.
Every frame is edited by hand in a warm, film-leaning tone that ages well — the same album will still look right in twenty years. And every family leaves with something printed, because a photograph you can hold is the only one that survives a phone.

A haldi that turned into a water fight
It was meant to be forty minutes on the terrace. Four hours later the whole family was yellow, the uncles had found a hosepipe, and the bride was laughing so hard she had to sit down on the steps. We stayed for all of it.

A morning session at home, with the curtains open and nothing staged. Ira slept through the first hour, woke up furious for ten minutes, and then fell asleep again on her father — which is the photograph her parents chose for the wall.

The jasmine arrived at six in the morning. By nine the hall smelled like a garden and every woman in the family had a hand on the cradle. We photographed the whispering of the name from behind the grandmother's shoulder.
